“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done.”

Thomas Jefferson

This quote has never been more applicable than in riding. Horse training, by definition, is making your thought be your horse’s thought. Therefore your horse can never outperform your request. Put another way by Buck Brannaman, “The horse is a mirror to your soul, sometimes you might not like what you see. Sometimes you will.” If you want to improve your horse, the best place to start is with yourself.

These clinics run Friday-Sunday, from 9 am – 5 pm with a lunch break. Please bring a horse that is safe to ride in a group.

One day clinics are a fantastic way to brush up your riding. Spend the day learning and stretching your abilities with Kim and Danielle, then go home and practice before the next one! Topics will be customized to meet the needs of the participants, so bring your questions and goals. Begins at 9 am and goes until 5, with a lunch break.

Three day trail clinics make the perfect weekend getaway! Learn how to apply advanced maneuvers on the trail, build confidence, and improve your relationship with your horse. These clinics runs Friday-Sunday, 9 am-5pm, and begin with arena work to establish a foundation of control and communication. On Saturday, obstacles are added in the arena for extra challenge and to simulate real-world experiences. Sunday morning builds on the previous days’ work and culminates in a group trail ride that afternoon.

Private instruction is another great way to work with Kim and Danielle. Your instruction time will be completely devoted to your own personal goals, and is guaranteed to fit your schedule. Whether you want to work on colt starting, confidence building, performance riding, or problem solving, this is a great way to do it.

There are only two emotions that belong in the saddle: one is a sense of humor and the other is patience."
